Who are we?

AHEPA is the largest Hellenic Association in the world with chapters in the United States, Canada, Greece, Cyprus, Australia and New Zealand. It was established in 1922 by visionary Greek Americans to protect Hellenes from prejudice and discrimination. AHEPA was founded in Australia in Werris Creek NSW in May 1934.

What we offer?

A broad based community participation in Cultural, Charitable, Educational and Social activities through a structured and coordinated process which allows us to strengthen and improve Australian – Greek (Hellenic) Relations by encouraging Australian citizenship and participation in the civic and social fabric of our country Australia.

“AHEPA is about people enjoying doing good deeds and socializing with friends with a common bond.”

What are our Objectives?

To promote the public interest in the Australian Hellenic Culture, language and attributes of HELLENISM for the benefit of all Australian Hellenes.

To raise funds for charitable works, organisations and welfare appeals, with an emphasis on medical research, the needy and the sick, and the care and welfare of the aged and disadvantaged of our society.

“Dedicated to supporting our community”
