"Education is the most powerful weapon which  you can use to change the world." Nelson Mandela

AHEPA GREEK SCHOOL provides a caring environment that encourages all children to value and respect themselves and others. We lead by example and we set out goals and objectives of high standards that reflect upon all the AHEPA GREEK SCHOOL community.

We are committed to teaching Greek language and culture as a unique concept and we actively promote in students, a sense of cultural identity and ethos. Our school is a vibrant small language school that is enjoyed fully by students, teachers and parents.

We have developed a curriculum program covering the aspects of Listening, Speaking, Reading, Writing, Thinking, Viewing, Singing, Dancing as well as incorporating Greek Mythology and History. The curriculum is aligned with AUSVELS and meets all essential progression measures and points.

Our students feel safe and happy coming to school. They are engaged, they enjoy learning, and as a result, they develop positive social skills for the rest of their lives. Students benefit from a broad variety of activities in the classroom and appreciate undertaking special projects.

Dedicated and qualified teachers adopt innovation in their teaching strategies and they are committed to achieving high standards for the students.

The school community enjoys high morale and shares a strong sense of teamwork and mutual support, thus fostering a strong working partnership between students, teachers, parents and the community.

Our commitment is to make positive progress from Prep through to the end of Year 12 by adapting quality teaching practices to maximise student learning.

Our vision is to provide a comprehensive learning program for the Greek Language and Culture in a supportive, safe and caring environment with an ethical and reflective approach.

AHEPA Greek School acknowledges the funding support from the Victorian Government.
