Principal's Message
Dear Parents and Students
On behalf of the staff at AHEPA GREEK SCHOOL, I am happy to welcome you to the new school year! We are looking forward to a productive partnership with you to ensure our children can achieve their highest potential.
We recognise that in order to be successful in school, our children need support from both the home and school. We know a strong partnership with you will make a great difference in your child’s Greek Language learning. As partners, we share the responsibility for our children’s success and want you to know that we will do our very best to carry out our responsibilities. We ask that you guide and support your child’s learning by ensuring that he/she:
1) Attends school weekly and arrives on time, ready to learn
2) Completes homework given by teachers
3) Reads to you regularly to develop and improve language skills
4) Shares experiences with you of his/her Greek school life
5) Informs you if he/she needs additional support
6) Knows that you expect him/her to succeed in school
School Volunteer Program
Please consider joining our school volunteer program so our students can greatly benefit from your involvement and contributions to the school’s program. Our committed volunteers help us with the following activities:
1) In the classroom Teacher-led instructional support
2) Reading with children who need extra help
3) School events (Parade/Concerts etc.)

Αγαπητοί γονείς και μαθητές
Με μεγάλη χαρά σας καλωσορίζω στο σχολείο μας, στο ΕΛΛΗΝΙΚΟ ΣΧΟΛΕΙΟ ΑΧΕΠΑ, που είναι σαν μια μεγάλη οικογένεια και αγκαλιάζει με φροντίδα και αγάπη τα παιδιά σας, που είναι και δικά μας παιδιά. Είμαι σίγουρη ότι θα χαρήτε πολύ απο την πρώτη κι όλας μέρα που θα γίνετε μέλος σ’αυτή την ενθουσιώδη και δυναμική σχολική ομάδα! Σας δίνουμε την υπόσχεση, ότι και φέτος θα έχουμε μια ενδιαφέρουσα, χαρούμενη και παραγωγική σχολική χρονιά!
Μπορώ να πω ότι είμαστε πολύ τυχεροί που στο σχολείο μας έχουμε μια ομάδα με τους καλύτερους εκπαιδευτικούς που υπάρχουν στην Μελβούρνη.
Tο ΕΛΛΗΝΙΚΟ ΣΧΟΛΕΙΟ ΑΧΕΠΑ, είναι το μοναδικό σχολείο στην Μελβούρνη που έχει βοηθούς στις τάξεις. Κάτι πολύ συγκινητικό και ευγενικό είναι ότι οι βοηθοί μας είναι εθελοντές και εργάζονται αφιλοκερδώς.
Προσβλέπω σε μια ακόμη θαυμάσια χρονιά και ευελπιστώ στην θετική συνεργασία μας γιατί αυτό θα βοηθήσει τους μαθητές μας να είναι αποδοτικοί και χαρούμενοι.
